As promised, here is my first ever giveaway. There is 1 metre of red flowery cotton lawn. It's 55 inches wide, that's 141 cm if you're modern! It would be perfect for a summery top. Also, there is 3 metres of cream and polka dot ribbon and 6 red heart-shaped buttons from Cath Kidston.
I'll post to anywhere, just leave a comment by 12 midnight GMT on Sunday 8th June, and I'll pick a winner.
In knitting news, I got three skeins of Rowan Pure Wool Worsted for Andi Sutterland's Myrna Cardigan, which is part of the OAL2014. I'm not making the dress, but I'd love to know if anybody else is taking part, and what they are making.
Good luck!
Lynne
That's pretty fabric, Lynne. My local haberdashery store didn't seem to have anything like that (not at a reasonable price anyway) the last time I was in there.
ReplyDeleteOoh - yum! Love the colours :-)
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric and would love to win!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabric! And I love your yarn as well! I am planning on doing the OAL, but I haven't decided on yarn (or fabric) yet - I'd better get on it! Simplicity 1803 was the first dress I ever made, so it will be nice to revisit (and hopefully get a better fit!) I haven't knitted a sweater yet, although I have recently started one of Andi's patterns (so far it's only stocking stitch though ;)
ReplyDeleteThe colour of that fabric is delicious :o) polka dots too! great first giveaway x
ReplyDeleteThat is such lovely fabric - I think it wants to be a Belcarra! I would love to win it

Lovely giveaway. I think the fabric would look lovely combined with something else to make a colette parfait or a top of some sort. I'd use the ribbon to trim the straw trilby I was given for my birthday. So many ideas, sadly never enough time!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty! I've never sewn with lawn before - I've always been too intimidated to buy it!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!!! I love those buttons too, so cute!
ReplyDeleteRed is one of my favorite color and those buttons are to dye for! Wish me luck and thanks Fior the giveaway! :)

Have a beautiful weekend!
Love the colour of your new yarn, I shall have to take a look at OAL2014, although I'm a beginner at sewing, but I may pick up some tips and inspiration. Lovely giveaway goodies. I have just found your blog through Bloglovin.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabric, what a lovely prize! Let's hope the sun shines this summer :-) x

ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful fabric. I'd love to make a vintage blouse with it. I'm thinking on participating in OAL2014, but I have to see if I can make it, since I'm trying to avoid stress in order to get healthier.
